Dr. Zeke Zekoff
Dr. Zeke Zekoff is a Cincinnati-based veterinarian with over 40+ years of veterinary experience. In those years he has always based his practice on the Bible verse Colossians 3:23-24, and to that end has been involved with the animal welfare community since graduating from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983.
He started and owned Towne Square Animal Clinic in Blue Ash, Ohio, in 1983, till December 2018. After selling his practice, he continued to work there till August 2022. Since that time, he continues to run his non-profit, United Pet Fund (UPF), which he founded in 2010 as a community resource provider to 100+ regional animal shelter, rescues and advocacy groups in the Greater Cincinnati region, as well as many more throughout the Midwest.

"For me, being a vet is a calling.
I am passionate about what I do."

History
Dr. Zekoff is also the Veterinary Surgeon for Pets in Need of Cincinnati…a community veterinary clinic that serves the economically disadvantaged pet owners of Greater Cincinnati. His philosophy in working with pet owners for the past 4 decades is the K.I.S.S. – ‘Keep it simple st****’…..don’t overwhelm them with scientific words, but rather present it in a way that all can understand.
Scientific curiosity has always lead him to ‘doggedly’ work on a problem till a solution can be found. Care, Compassion and Concern are the 3-C’s he wants to come across from Dr. Z Pet Talk.
Leadership & Associations
Dr. Z’s leadership roles have included being President of the Cincinnati Veterinary Medical Association, President of the Ohio Animal Health Foundation, and Founder and Executive Director of United Pet Fund.
Part of that Leadership role shortly is to work to extend veterinary health care to many who find it inaccessible for many reasons by working with Ohio Legislators to help bring Veterinary Medicine in Ohio to the 21st Century with the advent of Veterinary Telemedicine, Telehealth, Teleadvice, and Teletriage.
